How it works
From idea to stitch-out in four steps.
Find a design
Search the library or browse by theme to find the right motif for your project.
Choose your size
Pick the size your project needs. Each one is digitized natively from the artwork — never just scaled.
Download your format
PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, U01 or PEC — or one ZIP with every format and a colour sheet.
Stitch it out
Load the file on your machine and start sewing. Every file has passed our automatic quality check.
- Digitized natively — never scaled

Are the designs really free?
Yes. Free designs can be downloaded by anyone — three a day without an account and fifteen a day with a free account. Premium designs are included in the Pro and Business plans.
Which embroidery machines can use the files?
Every design comes in PES (Brother, Baby Lock), DST (Tajima commercial and multi-needle machines, and many home machines), JEF (Janome), EXP (Melco, Bernina), VP3 (Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff), XXX (Singer), U01 (Barudan) and PEC — plus a ZIP with all of them.
Which sizes do I get?
Four natively digitized sizes: 50 mm, our default and just right for a shirt chest, a cap or kids’ wear, plus 70 and 95 mm (all three fit a 4×4 inch hoop) and 125 mm (fits a 5×7 inch hoop either way round). Each size is digitized from the drawing, not scaled.
Can I sell items I stitch with your designs?
Free downloads come with a personal-use license. The Pro plan adds a commercial license for stitched items, and Business extends it to client work and merchandise. The license page has the details.
How do the AI tools work?
Describe a design or type a name, and our AI draws original line-and-colour art that our digitizer turns into a machine-ready file. AI tools use credits; the file converter and viewer are free.
