About this design
A cosy Scandinavian-style Christmas gnome, the tomte or nisse of Nordic folklore, with a tall floppy red hat pulled down over his eyes, a gold star on the drooping tip and a sprig of green holly with golden berries. A round peach nose peeks out above a long, fluffy white beard, and little brown boots stick out under his forest-green tunic. Stitch him on Christmas stockings, table runners, tree skirts, gift bags or a winter sweatshirt. The beard and hat are large fills: hoop firmly with a medium cut-away so the long outline stays smooth.
