Hen on a Nest embroidery design

A plump white hen settled happily in a tan straw nest with a wavy rim, her red comb standing up, an orange beak, a red wattle and a rosy blush pink cheek. A rounded wing and two fanned tail feathers give her a cosy, broody shape. Made for farmhouse kitchen towels, egg baskets, aprons and spring or Easter table linen, and sweet on a toddler's t-shirt too. The white body is a large fill, so on dark fabric place a topping or a second layer of stabilizer to keep it bright and stop the fabric showing through.
