Woolly Sheep with Floppy Ears embroidery design

A plump little sheep in a cloud of warm ivory wool with a soft sand shadow along its belly. It has a peach face with a scalloped fringe, two pink cheeks, a tiny smile, floppy peach-and-pink ears and three small cocoa hooves, all outlined in black satin. The scalloped wool edge is one continuous line, so the cloud stays round even when it is stitched small. It suits baby bodysuits, nursery quilts, tea towels and tote bags. The wool is one large tatami area, so use a medium tear-away backing on woven cotton and a cut-away on stretchy kidswear, and keep the top thread tension light.
