Round Hay Bale embroidery design

A round hay bale lying on its side, stitched in warm straw gold and wrapped in two saddle-brown straps. A swirl of short amber marks winds across the end face, a few more mark the rolled straw, and the black outline wobbles where the hay sticks out, so the bale looks soft rather than stiff. It suits farm, harvest and autumn projects: tea towels, tote bags, kids' dungarees and cushion covers. On towels or fleece, add a water-soluble topping so the golden fill stays crisp, and use a fresh needle for the many small turns in the outline.
