Landmark embroidery designs

Famous kinds of towers, bridges and city icons, drawn as simple, recognizable silhouettes: these landmark embroidery designs turn tees, tote bags and patches into souvenirs of the places you love. Many landmarks are free, and you choose the file for your machine: PES, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX or DST. Tall towers have long vertical lines, so hoop the fabric drum-tight and straight on the grain.

Every landmark here is an original drawing: a simplified, iconic silhouette in flat thread colors with a dark outline, not a photo and not a copy of official souvenir artwork. We leave out trademarks and logos, so each design focuses on the shape that makes a place recognizable.

Landmarks are often tall and narrow, which means the height is the longer side of the design. A tower that tilts by even a few degrees is easy to spot, so mark a vertical line before hooping. Use no-show mesh cut-away on T-shirts and a medium tear-away on canvas totes and denim.

Add the city and the year of your visit with the monogram maker, or pair the landmark with a street scene from the city designs. For suitcases and passports to go with it, browse the wanderlust and travel gear designs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell souvenir tees with landmark designs?

Yes, provided your plan includes a commercial license; the free personal-use license does not cover souvenirs made for sale. Our landmarks are generic silhouettes without trademarks or official logos, and the license page sets out exactly what each license allows.

How do I keep a tall tower design straight on a shirt?

Mark a vertical center line with a removable marker, using the shirt's center fold or placket as a guide. Hoop with that line on the vertical center mark of the hoop, keep the knit relaxed, and confirm the position with the trace function before you stitch.
