Can I put a café name on an apron with a coffee cup design?
Yes. Type the café name into the monogram and lettering maker, then stitch it under the cup in the same hooping, or in a second hooping if the cup and the name do not fit together. Café aprons are often heavy twill or denim, so float them on a hooped tear-away and use a sharp needle. If you sell the aprons, you need a plan with a commercial license.
Which designs suit a tea party?
Teapots and teacups on napkins, a table runner and small gift bags set the scene, and a rose or two from the rose designs adds a garden-party look. On thin napkins, a water-soluble stabilizer washes out completely and leaves the fabric soft. Stitching the set a few weeks early leaves time to wash and press it.
